SUMMARY: This position will oversee the accounting department to ensure regular reporting is consistent and accountable for flawless execution and reporting. Formulates budgets to meet financial goals while ensuring operational excellence. Monitors and manages expenses to maintain financial health and efficient operations. Responsible for preparing financial reports, performing research and analysis, and maintaining the general ledger. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial operations. Establish budgets in compliance with department requirements. Develop annual financial plans and projections. Oversee Aircraft Inventory Cycle Counts & Reserve Manage SOX 404 compliance. Provide ongoing training to accounting personnel. Conduct financial assessment and generate reports for senior leadership. Adhere to laws and regulations. Communicate results efficiently and timely to leadership teams to aid decision making. Coordinate periodic balance sheet reviews with Corporate staff and Controllers. Performs other related duties as assigned by SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has supervisory Position is part of the Leadership Team QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Accounting or Finance, Masters preferred. 10 years of experience in leading accounting functions with mid to large size organizations Knowledge of financial forecasting CPA Preferred Experience managing a company’s cash flow.
