Our wine bar is designed to be a welcoming gathering place where exceptional wine, thoughtfully crafted cocktails, and genuine conversation come together. We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, has an appreciation for food and wine, and takes pride in delivering warm, attentive service. This is not a high-volume nightclub bar. Our focus is on quality over quantity—carefully selected wines, a small menu of classic and seasonal cocktails, and creating an atmosphere where guests feel relaxed, welcomed, and cared for. Responsibilities * Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. * Prepare and serve a curated selection of cocktails with consistency and attention to detail. * Confidently guide guests through our wine list, offering recommendations based on their preferences and food selections. * Open, pour, and serve wine using proper techniques. * Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service. * Assist servers with beverage service and ensure timely drink preparation. * Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs. * Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and verify identification when required. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards behind the bar. * Help create an inviting atmosphere through conversation, hospitality, and attention to detail. * Work closely with the kitchen and service team to provide a seamless guest experience. Qualifications * Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred. * Wine knowledge is a plus, but we are happy to train someone who is eager to learn. * Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. * Comfortable learning classic cocktail techniques and proper wine service. * Strong communication and multitasking skills. * Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service. * Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented. * Must meet Alabama requirements for serving alcohol. * Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
