This is a long-term, onsite consultant opportunity in Bohemia, NY where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly support the flow of materials that keep aerospace operations running smoothly.In this role, you’ll be at the center of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations—ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time.Role Summary & ImpactAs a Stock Room Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring efficient material flow across the facility. Your work supports production continuity, reduces delays, and helps maintain the integrity of aviation supply chain operations.From receiving shipments to preparing materials for distribution, your precision and reliability will help keep critical programs on track.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stockroom duties in accordance with established proceduresIdentify parts, components, wires, and materials using part markings, labels, and color codesUtilize material handling and packaging equipment safely and effectivelyFill orders based on bill of material (BOM) requirementsPackage, label, and ship materials according to strict handling and shipping instructionsConduct bulk counting using scales and tape & reel countersPerform cycle counts and accurately record inventory data and discrepanciesUse computer systems to track inventory transactions, generate labels, and record labor chargesUnload trucks and distribute materials to internal locations using appropriate equipmentBuild and break down packaging materials as neededMaintain proper storage, shelving, and organization of inventoryMonitor and replenish packaging suppliesIdentify and resolve inventory discrepancies and workspace issuesMaintain accurate documentation of all stockroom activitiesTrain and support other team members as neededRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of related stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to perform manual material handling tasks in a fast-paced environmentThis position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
