Location: Remote (U.S. – contiguous states) Preferred Locations: Corvallis, OR or Houston, TX (onsite candidates prioritized) Travel: As needed Type: ContractOverviewSystem One is seeking a Program Manager – Project Risk Management to lead the development and execution of enterprise-level risk management strategies supporting complex engineering and project environments.This role will drive risk planning, assessment, and monitoring, providing data-driven insights to support project forecasting, decision-making, and overall program success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development and implementation of project risk management strategies, processes, and toolsOversee risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across multiple projectsProvide quantitative risk analysis impacting cost and scheduleSupport proposal teams with risk identification and assessmentDevelop and maintain risk management frameworks and standardsDeliver training and mentorship on risk tools and best practicesEnsure consistency and accuracy of risk data across systems and platformsFacilitate risk reviews and support project teams with mitigation strategiesPerform scenario analysis, root cause analysis, and decision-support modelingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field8+ years of experience in: Project risk managementProject/program management or engineering environmentsStrong experience with: Risk analysis and reportingCost/schedule impact assessmentsPMO processes and project controlsPreferred ExperienceNuclear or highly regulated industry experienceFamiliarity with tools such as: Primavera P6Primavera Risk AnalysisARM, PRISMPalisade @RiskKey SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and technical writing skillsAbility to manage complex, multi-phase projectsExperience working across cross-functional and matrixed teamsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAdditional RequirementsEligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810Ability to travel as needed Ref: #161-Managed Staffing Charlotte
