Our organization is a large multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers, currently in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician who is dedicated to a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care within an Urgent Care (UC) environment. The clinical responsibilities will encompass the management of acute illnesses and injuries, sports physicals, as well as acute occupational medicine concerns.The Urgent Care Medical Director will lead the team of Urgent Care providers and will play a crucial role in addressing all operational aspects related to the quality of patient care, enhancing patient experiences, and ensuring standardization. This role also involves recruiting Advanced Practice Providers for Urgent Care, conducting chart reviews, facilitating ongoing education and training for UC providers, and contributing to the strategic development of urgent care services within the medical group.Moreover, the Urgent Care Medical Director will have the chance to lead and deliver quality care for specific acute issues through an innovative telehealth initiative known as MyeVisit. This program, developed by our organization, allows patients to connect with healthcare providers from the comfort of their homes using smartphones, tablets, or PCs.The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for health-related issues and demonstrate comprehensive assessment capabilities, advanced clinical skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. Leadership and active engagement in clinic operations, along with support for a dedicated team of providers and colleagues, are essential. This position is based at our Urgent Care clinics, both on and off campus, covering 12 locations throughout the Boise Metro area. It is a Full-Time role, comprising 0.60 FTE for clinical duties and 0.40 FTE for administrative responsibilities.
