Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and eye for design and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Leads electrical design activitiesSupports project managers in developing scope, schedule, and meeting client expectationsAccountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasksEffectively recognizes and communicates scope and design changesProduces single-line diagrams, installation details, electric room layouts, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting designs, power plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studiesProvides local, on-site field investigations and construction reviews#LI-AC2Here's what you'll needBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer License (PE)Minimum 8 years of professional eexperience in Electrical Engineering (power)Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Knowledge and application of other NFPA codes and industry standardsStrong working knowledge of RevitAbility to lead design and mentor junior engineersFamiliarity of design and construction specificationsYou will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status like OPT or F-1) to work for Jacobs in the U.S.Ideally, you'll also have:* Working knowledge of electrical power analysis software such as SKM or ETAP* Water, Commercial, higher education, and federal experiencePosted Salary Range: Minimum110,600.00Posted Salary Range: Upper172,850.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
