Successful candidates will have: A minimum of 10 years sales engineering experience within the IT and telecommunications industry. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a history of adding value to the consulting process. Solid background experience, including first-hand experience in engaging customers or other executives, negotiations and presentations. Top notch technical proficiency. Significant knowledge of data LAN/WAN configuration, including cabling infrastructure configuration, router, switches, hubs, access points, wireless, and VOIP is a plus. In-depth knowledge of the telecom/technology industry. Knowledge of competitive marketplace is important. Strong desire to stay current with emerging trends, new technologies, and certifications
