Company: Sharp Brains LimitedJob Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor (1099 / B2B)Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)Work Model: OnsiteRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual & Unified Communications (UC) Level 3 Engineer to support and enhance a global enterprise AV/UC infrastructure.This role is ideal for independent IT professionals with strong hands-on experience in video conferencing, telephony, and AV systems, who can lead deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and support executive-level users in a fast-paced, global environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead deployment and support of Audio Visual (AV), Video Conferencing (VC), and Unified Communications (UC) solutionsManage enterprise-level AV/UC projects, including planning, execution, and documentationTroubleshoot complex video/network issues and provide Tier 3 supportDrive adoption and optimization of collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex)Support and manage UC telephony systems (RingCentral)Design, implement, and upgrade AV/UC infrastructure, including conferencing rooms and enterprise setupsCollaborate with infrastructure, operations, and project teams for global implementationsProvide Executive (C-Level) support for communication technologiesPerform system testing, evaluations, and recommend improvementsSupport live events, exhibitions, and production environments when requiredEnsure end-to-end lifecycle management of AV/UC equipment and servicesRequired Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience in Audio Visual / Unified Communications engineeringStrong expertise in:Cisco TelePresence & endpoints (Control Hub)RingCentral UC systemsCollaboration tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebexExperience with AV control systems (AMX / Crestron)Solid understanding of AV technologies (signal types, routing, cabling)Exposure to production technologies (e.g., Ross, Blackbox, Dante, Matrox) is a plusProven experience in enterprise infrastructure deployments and migrationsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting global teams and executive stakeholdersGood knowledge of:Windows / macOS environmentsOffice 365 & collaboration toolsNetwork and server technologiesWhat We’re Looking For:Independent, self-driven IT professionals (Freelancers / Contractors)Ability to work in a global, collaborative environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join Sharp Brains Limited?Opportunity to work with global enterprise clientsLong-term, 12-month extendable contractExposure to cutting-edge AV/UC technologiesFlexible engagement model for independent professionals
