At LHP we ensure Functional Safety and Cyber Security development of these systems and technologies by leveraging our core expertise with widely accepted standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO26262, ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434.The Senior Project Manager leads complex aerospace programs from contract award through delivery. This role owns full project execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-reliability aerospace products. This position is onsite in Goleta, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end execution of aerospace development and production programsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plansServe as the primary customer interface for program executionIdentify, manage, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risksLead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chainManage contract requirements, scope changes, and program reviewsEnsure compliance with aerospace standards, quality systems, and customer requirementsMentor junior project managers and project coordinatorsRisk managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master’s preferred)7+ years of project/program management experience in aerospace or defenseProven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programsStrong knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and regulated environmentsExcellent customer-facing, leadership, and decision-making skillsPMP or equivalent certification preferredEarned value managementAbility to work full-time on-site in Goleta, CAFounded in 2001, LHP has provided engineering services, training, and technology solutions within the transportation industry for over 20 years.
