Part-time Faculty, Politics and International Relations
Summary of Position
Teach a range of international courses (e.g., international relations, contemporary world governments) a preference for expertise in international theory, diplomacy and conflict resolution. Must be able to provide regular in-person instruction as assigned.

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule:Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be made at YSU's main location in Youngstown, Ohio, the Steubenville, Ohio location, or for remote courses. Must be able to provide regular in-person instruction as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:An earned master's degree in political science or similar fields (including but not limited too international economics); able to teach classes including but not limited Contemporary World Governments, International Organizations, etc.;must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:Teaching experience, in-person and online.
