Solid Surface Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Solid Surface Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality solid surface materials used in countertops, vanities, and other architectural surfaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience in fabrication and assembly processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment focused on precision craftsmanship and efficiency.Hours are 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-FridayResponsibilities
Assemble solid surface materials accurately according to specifications and project requirements
Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely and effectively
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage, transportation, and placement within the workspace
Conduct measurements, cuts, and fittings with precision to ensure seamless surface installation
Read blueprints , basic math skills and use a tape measure
Assist in the setup and maintenance of machinery used in fabrication and assembly processes
Support inventory management by tracking materials and supplies used during assemblyExperience
Prior experience in manufacturing, millwork, or construction environments preferred
Hands-on knowledge of assembly techniques involving solid surface materials or similar composites
Familiarity with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and measuring devices
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse handling equipment is advantageous
Basic mechanical knowledge related to machining, fabrication, and carpentry tasks
Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications for precise assembly work
Previous warehouse experience demonstrating safety awareness and efficiency in material handlingThis role is essential for maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while supporting efficient production workflows.
