One Saturday per month during RV Season.Minimum Requirements of Employer:Certificate or Diploma beyond High School DesiredPrior RV repair training or experienceNo Licenses or Certifications RequiredNo Vehicle RequestedClass D-Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) RequiredNo Age Requested Prior Technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry preferredExperience working in an RV Dealership environment is preferredRVDA/RVIA Certification is a plusSelf MotivatedAbility to Multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient mannerReliable and strong work ethicValid Driver's License RequiredDuties and Responsibilities of the Job:Diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair or overhaul recreational vehicles including travel trailers. May specialize in maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Included workers who perform customized van conversions.RV Techs are responsible for servicing new and used RV's. They do service the chassis and engines in addition to interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing repairs.The RV Technicians will be responsible for the following: Communicating with customers, reading work orders, and examining vehicles needing repair in order to determine the nature and extent of damage.Repairing and installing RV satellite systems, electrical systems, backup systems, awnings and interior cabinetry and countertops.Repairing and adjusting slide-outs.Repair of generator systems, roof mounted air conditioning units, propane systems, water systems and plumbing.Examining or testing the operation of parts or systems that have been repaired to ensure completeness of repairsConnect electrical systems to outside power sources and activate switches to test the operation of appliances or light fixtures.Connect water hoses to inlet pipes of plumbing systems and test operation of toilets or sinksExamine or test operation of parts or systems to ensure completeness of repairsInspect recreational vehicles to diagnose problems and perform necessary adjustment, repair, or overhaulList parts needed, estimate costs, and plan work procedure, using parts lists, technical manuals, or diagrams.Locate an d repair frayed wiring, broken connections, or incorrect wiring, using ohmmeters, soldering irons, tape, or hand toolsOpen and close doors, windows, or drawers to test their operation, trimming edges to fit, as necessaryRefinish wood surfaces on cabinets, doors, moldings, or floors, using power sanders, putty, spray equipment, brushes, paints, or varnishesRemoved damaged exterior panels and repair and replace structural frame membersRepair leaks with caulking compound or replace pipes, using pipe wrenchesRepair plumbing or propane gas lines, using caulking compounds and plastic or copper pipeReset hardware, using chisels, mallets, and screwdriversSeal open sides of modular units to prepare them for shipment, using polyethylene sheets, nails, and hammersEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerBenefits:Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Vision Insurance, Vacation, Paid Holidays401K PlanPaid TrainingPaid UniformsHow to Apply:Apply In Person:Link Ford and RV Minong LLCHWY 53 and 77Minong, WI 54859Attn: Cody EagleE-Mail a ResumeKathys@linkmotors.comPowered by JazzHR
