Lead and manage the sanitation team and chemical program
Develop, implement, maintain, and audit facility sanitation programs including SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergen control, pest control, and environmental monitoring
Build and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule
Identify and drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives related to facility sanitation
Partner with plant operations to meet customer requirements and uphold high industry standards
Train and mentor the sanitation team on procedures, processes, and food safety best practices
Enforce sanitation, food safety, employee safety, and quality policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and all related programs
Perform other duties as assigned
What You BringRequired:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing with hands-on knowledge of sanitation, GMPs, and SQF
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of cleaning and sanitation principles in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information across all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Preferred:Bilingual in English and SpanishWork EnvironmentThis position operates on3rd shiftin a food manufacturing facility (10:00pm - 6:00am). The role requires the ability to work in varying temperatures and physical conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.E-Verify EmployerQ
