HR Generalist (Temporary)

Role: HR Generalist (Temporary) Location: Fort Worth, TX Schedule: Remote initially; transitioning to hybrid (3 days onsite) Rate: $38-$40/hr Duration: ASAP through August (with potential to extend or convert) About the Role We are partnering with a rapidly growing, operations-focused organization seeking an HR Generalist to provide immediate support to leadership and employees across a key operational site. This is a hands-on role focused on day-to-day HR operations, employee support, and HR systems, with an emphasis on maintaining continuity during a leave coverage period. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across a multi-site environment Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience Maintain employee records and ensure HR data accuracy within HRIS systems Assist with payroll processing and administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices Partner with managers to support employee relations and address routine issues Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries Assist with performance review coordination and employee development initiatives Support workforce planning efforts, including staffing needs and role changes Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar hands-on HR role Experience supporting HR operations, employee relations, and HR administration Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP strongly preferred; HiBob is a plus) Experience with payroll processing or payroll support Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in operations, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments Experience supporting multi-site teams Exposure to workforce planning or basic HR analytics HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus Additional Details Must be available to start immediately and comfortable with a temporary assignment Role will begin remotely and transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Fort Worth) Opportunity for extension or conversion based on business needs
