The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of functional design, system configuration, testing, and customer coordination, along with close collaboration with offshore development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Functional Design Documents (FDDs) aligned with business and regulatory requirementsPerform SAP IS‑U Billing and Invoicing configuration including master data setupLead and support Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and defect resolutionConduct customer workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present solutionsCoordinate with offshore teams and technical developers to ensure timely deliveryProvide functional guidance during integrations, enhancements, and issue resolutionSupport production issues, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesEssential Skills & ExperienceSAP IS‑U Billing & InvoicingStrong hands‑on experience in SAP IS‑U Billing and InvoicingDeep functional expertise in the end‑to‑end meter‑to‑cash processExperience in Electricity and Gas utilitiesBilling Configuration & Rate DesignExpertise in configuring and customizing: Billing schemasRate modeling (simple and complex billing scenarios)Regulated and de‑regulated tariff modelsBilling & Invoicing ProcessesStrong knowledge of: Budget billingRTP (Real‑Time Pricing) billingTOU (Time‑of‑Use) billingMass billing and batch jobsException handling and error resolutionBill simulation and unbilled revenue scenariosCollective and consolidated billingBill Print & Output ManagementWorking knowledge of SAP IS‑U Bill PrintExperience with: Print Workbench configurationIntegration with Smart Forms and Adobe FormsCross‑Functional & Integration ExperienceExperience working with: Device Management (DM)FI‑CA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable)Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and technical teamsStrong understanding of integration touchpoints within SAP IS‑USAP S/4HANA & Digital SkillsExperience with SAP S/4HANA UtilitiesExposure to SAP Fiori applicationsAbility to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot: OData servicesWeb services used for system integrationsConsulting & Soft SkillsStrong client‑facing and stakeholder management skillsAbility to act as a functional bridge between business and IT teamsProven experience in guiding customers on best practices and solution designExcellent communication and documentation skills
