Cafeteria Manager
Celina City Schools is looking for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Celina High School cafeteria. This full-time position will eventually oversee the cafeteria operations of the new 7-12 building that will serve over 1,000 students plus staff.
Key Qualities and Skills
Previous food service experience required; school food service experience preferred
Experience placing and managing vendor orders through suppliers such as Gordon Food Service (GFS)
Strong understanding of FIFO procedures, inventory management, and product rotation
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Willingness to obtain ServSafe Level 2 Manager Certification
Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment including convection ovens, steamers, and warmers
Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills
Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and reports including production records, temperature logs, and bank deposits in a timely manner
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive teamwork
