Border Tire is now hiring Tire Technicians in Laredo, Texas!/strong/ppThestrongTire Technicians/strongare responsible for truck and trailer tires to ensure efficient operation and compliance by performing the following duties./ppstrong*** Compensation incentives based on performance. ***/strong/ppstrongSchedule:/strongMonday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. On-call rotating schedule.br /strongWeekends Required:/strongRotating Shifts/ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliInspects truck/trailer tires for excessive wear, bulges, cuts, and damaged tread./liliRepair tires with minor malfunctions./liliProperly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation./liliUnbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools./liliProperly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on the vehicle./liliRepair or replace tires on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks./liliResponsible for proper installation of wheels and tires, balancing wheels, and checking for correct fit./liliMaintains all inventories and tire equipment./liliReassemble tires onto wheels./liliPrepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting./liliDisposes of damaged/old tires in accordance with state regulations./liliEnsures tires are functioning properly and within the Department of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health Act Compliance./liliSafely operates all tools and equipment./liliReports any safety issues immediately to management./liliKeeps shop area neat and clean./liliAssist mechanics and perform other duties as directed./liliOther duties may be assigned./li/ul Pay Range: 18.00-18.00 per_hour, General Benefits:
