Breakfast Cook
**Job Overview:**
As a Cook at Egg Bar, you will play a crucial role in our upcoming Brunch & Bar Restaurant by meticulously preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and adherence to food safety standards will contribute to the success of our culinary operations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Safely store food items, monitor ingredient inventory levels, and replenish supplies as needed
- Execute food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, chopping, measuring, and cooking ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion according to specifications
- Uphold kitchen operational procedures and hygiene practices to meet food safety regulations
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in the food industry with a focus on Breakfast is preferred! Can you flip an egg?
- Proficiency in knife skills, menu planning, and working in a dietary department is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food handling techniques, cookery methods, and food safety protocols
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification in proper food handling practices (e.g., ServSafe Certification) is a plus
