Electromechanical TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Technician with expertise in manufacturing and electromechanical systems. The role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical products, and training team members to enhance product quality and reliability. This is a great opportunity to join a growing industry with potential for career advancement.Responsibilities+ Assemble and test electromechanical products following detailed work instructions.+ Troubleshoot small electromechanical products and processes, as well as test equipment.+ Interpret and develop production documents, including engineering prints, schematics, work instructions, and checklists.+ Train production employees on safety, quality, and processes, supporting all safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, and FOD.+ Support process improvements and perform other related duties as required.Essential Skills+ Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a relevant technical degree.+ 1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.+ Experience with electromechanical products, mechanical assembly, and industrial panel wiring.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems is preferred.+ Proficiency in Solidworks, electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and assembly procedures.Work EnvironmentThis position is within a fast-paced, clean manufacturing facility. The typical work hours are from 7am to 4pm, with overtime required at times. A 30-minute lunch break and small breaks throughout the day are provided. The company offers catered lunches daily and is located in a region where the robotics industry is expanding, presenting growth opportunities for employees.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of PITTSBURGH, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
