This role works closely with development staff, network administrators, and IT operations to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve system performance. You will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based systems on AWS, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for automating deployments, monitoring production environments, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. This role is vital in reducing system errors and optimizing our cloud infrastructure through comprehensive monitoring and logging. Other responsibilities include:Design, develop, and deploy modular, cloud-based systems on AWSManage and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems, ensuring their performance, security, availability, and scalabilityAutomate deployment processes and system maintenance to reduce manual effort and errorsRegularly review and make recommendations to improve existing systemsEnsure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policiesDefine and implement systems for logging, metrics, and monitoring on AWSIdentify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issuesProvide cloud support to various departments, making recommendations based on their specific needsLead the design, implementation, and maintenance of disaster recovery solutionsMaintain system documentation and logical/physical system mapsWhat You’ll Need To Be Successful5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering AWS cloud solutionsExpertise in key AWS services (ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.)Advanced working knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and DockerProven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)Proficiency in infrastructure and application monitoring (CheckMK, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to address system challengesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teamsAWS certification preferred; Azure experience is a plusStrong sense of ownership and responsibilitySelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independentlyA collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvementWhat You’ll Love About ZaggCatered lunches every WednesdayGenerous PTO + 2 floating holidays401k matchFree phone case and screen protectors50% discount on all Zagg productsFree access to Top Golf and discounted rate on foodTuition reimbursementZAGG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
