This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction in either Math or Language Arts/Study Skills while fostering student growth, independence, and academic success.Essential Duties (Top 5 Roles)Co‐Teaching in General Education ClassroomsCollaborate with general education mentors to plan and deliver instruction that supports diverse learnersImplement accommodations and modifications aligned to student learning plansFacilitate small group and differentiated instruction within the classroom settingSpecialized Lab InstructionProvide direct instruction in a lab setting to support special education service minutes in:ReadingWritingMathStudy SkillsDesign targeted lessons based on student needs and progress dataSupport skill development in organization, executive functioning, and academic interventionContent‐Specific Instructional RoleServe in a clearly defined instructional focus area:Math Mentor: Deliver math intervention and support numeracy skill development through both co‐teaching and lab instructionLanguage Arts/Study Skills Mentor: Deliver reading, writing, and study skills instruction through both co‐teaching and lab instruction.
