We’re hiring two Senior Paid Social Video Editors to join a high-growth, performance-driven brand in the golf space. This is a social-first, performance-focused editing role built for someone who is deeply fluent in golf culture and obsessed with creating content that stops the scroll and drives measurable results.This role is for a golfer who edits — not simply an editor who happens to work on golf content. You understand the language, the frustrations, the swing flaws, and the mindset of players trying to break 90. You can turn real golf insight into compelling, high-converting creative across Meta, YouTube, and other paid social platforms.You’ll work across both long-form and short-form content, from YouTube-style episodes and breakdowns to rapid-fire Reels, Shorts, and paid cutdowns. Speed, adaptability, and performance awareness are critical.What You’ll OwnSocial-First Editing & Performance CreativeEdit high-volume short-form content (Reels, Meta, YouTube Shorts, paid social cutdowns) with a sharp focus on hook, pacing, and platform-native storytelling.Craft thumb-stopping openings (first 1–3 seconds) that drive view-through and completion.Create multiple ad variations (hooks, lengths, CTAs, thumbnails) for structured creative testing.Translate long-form shoots into a steady stream of high-performing short-form edits.Long-Form & Narrative DevelopmentEdit YouTube episodes, feature content, testimonials, and breakdown pieces.Build strong narrative arcs while maintaining clarity and energy.Develop smart cutdowns that preserve performance intent and brand voice.Hands-On Post-ProductionOwn projects from ingest to export: selects, story structure, versioning, final delivery.Incorporate on-screen text, light motion graphics, and simple animation to elevate engagement.Apply color correction and maintain consistent brand standards.Keep clean, organized project files for collaborative workflows.Creative Testing & OptimizationPartner closely with Growth and Media teams to interpret performance data (VTR, watch time, CTR, CVR, thumb-stop rate).Ship meaningful creative variations and iterate quickly based on results.Contribute to post-launch creative recaps and ongoing performance strategy.Monitor creative fatigue and evolve formats accordingly.AI & Workflow InnovationStay current on emerging AI video tools (e.g., generative workflows, automation tools, editing accelerators).Use AI to streamline repetitive tasks and prototype concepts while maintaining brand integrity.Continuously improve speed and efficiency without sacrificing editorial judgment.Success in this role is measured by:Engagement & PerformanceView-through rate, watch time, completion rate, saves, shares, commentsCTR, CVR, and thumb-stop rate on paid variantsOutput & SpeedHigh volume of quality edits per weekFast turnaround from brief → first cut → final deliveryTesting & IterationVolume of creative variations shippedWin rate of new variations vs. benchmarksBrand ConsistencyStrong visual and tonal alignment across organic and paidReduced revision cycles over timeWhat We’re Looking For4–6+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong focus on paid social and short-form contentDeep, authentic golf knowledge (non-negotiable) — terminology, swing mechanics, common pain points, golf cultureProven ability to work across both long-form and short-form formatsHigh proficiency in Premiere Pro (preferred), Final Cut, or similarMotion graphics and basic After Effects skills strongly preferredStrong color correction/grading fundamentalsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-output, performance marketing environmentData-aware and curious — you care how your edits perform, not just how they lookExperience leveraging emerging AI tools responsibly within a professional workflowWhat “Winning” Looks LikeYour edits consistently drive strong engagement and conversion metricsYou’re trusted to turn imperfect footage into sharp, high-performing creative — quicklyThe brand develops a recognizable, cohesive social style across platformsLong-form content reliably fuels high-performing short-form distributionYour golf IQ shows up naturally in the workYou use AI to move faster — without compromising tasteIf you live and breathe golf, thrive in performance-driven creative environments, and love building content that golfers actually watch, share, and act on — this is a rare opportunity to shape the social voice of a 9-figure brand.
