About This RoleAs a Mainframe Security - Lead Information Security Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will provide senior-level technical leadership and ownership for highly complex information security initiatives that protect the firm's systems, data, and customers. You are accountable not only for engineering outcomes, but also for driving risk reduction, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with IAM and broader cybersecurity priorities.In This Role, You WillLead computer security incident response activities for highly complex eventsConduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategiesProvide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standardsDesign, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint securityReview and correlate security logsUtilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuityIdentify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternativesCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managersLead a team to achieve objectivesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, Mainframe + Multi-platform Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience with Mainframe, RACF, Security and Risk Management capabilitiesFungible skills transferable to modern platforms (Cloud, OCP, Linux, zLinux)Containerization and process automation experienceExperience with z/OS, Ansible, PythonJob Expectations:Ability to work in an environment with strict availability and change success requirementsFind opportunities and be able to integrate mainframe technologies and processes into non-mainframe solutions (e.g. git, AI capabilities, SailPoint-RACF integration, Ansible)This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipSalary Ranges:$119,000 - $187,000 - Charlotte, NC$119,000 - $187,000 - Chandler, AZ$131,000 - $206,000 - Minneapolis, MNPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
