As part of the Balls Food Stores family, we offer the stability of a locally owned company with deep community roots.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests, and contributing to a team that keeps the store running efficiently and welcoming.Key Responsibilities & Job DutiesProvide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visitsAssist guests with bagging groceries and offer carryout service to enhance convenience and satisfactionRetrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and maintain a safe, clean, and organized exterior areaHelp keep store entrances, checkout areas, and common spaces clean, clear, and welcomingSupport front-end operations by assisting cashiers and responding to guest needs promptlyStock, rotate, and face products as needed to support store presentation and product availabilityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the storeFollow all workplace safety, sanitation, and company standardsDevelop basic knowledge of store products, locations, and services to better assist guestsMonitor store conditions and report any safety, cleanliness, or product concerns to leadershipCommunicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership to support efficient operationsCollaborate across departments to support overall store performance and guest satisfactionAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standardsSupport loss prevention efforts by staying alert and following proper proceduresParticipate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunitiesRemain productive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, restocking, or supporting other departmentsOther job duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsRequired: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceRequired: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPreferred: Experience in grocery, retail, or customer service environments
