Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who shall be responsible for developing and maintaining system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexitySeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux toolsProficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processesRecent software development experience using PythonRecent software development experience using RustExperience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deploymentExperience developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environmentBasic Linux systems administration including User and Group ManagementExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CIFamiliar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologiesExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containersExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)This position is open for direct hires only.
