Job DescriptionGeneral Scope of Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities of our Product Manager, Pump Division position are: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for product and process related technical opportunities, issues, and general support for our external customer base and our internal sales resources. Train and educate our Technical Sales Engineers to be more self sufficient in mining pump opportunities and solving pump related issues. The goal is to “build an army” of technically capable representatives who can handle most of the issues and opportunities on their own. Serve as a critical communicator with the Pump Division Operations team, keeping them informed of customer requirements, unique needs, and delivery schedules. Monitor competitive activities, pricing, product offering, and sales efforts and report this information to present to Triosim in all phases of the pump product and services sales process for all assigned customers in a specific geographic territory. The position requires a unique combination of an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, relationship building, and a vast product and services knowledge. To be successful a candidate must possess the ability to communicate well with a diverse group of prospects, customers and partners in order to involve and lead all stakeholders through the sales process. As a field based position travel time is estimated at 85%.Qualifications:Mechanical Engineer Degree preferred; pulp and paper maintenance experience and/or industrial sales experience required. Experience directly and exclusively with pump products is not a must but would be a benefit. Specific pump training will be provided.Coverage Territory: North AmericaCompensation: Base Salary + CommissionsSpecific Responsibilities:Assists in developing and servicing exiting and potential pump customers. Reacts to customer needs, either when contacted directly or through the Triosim Technical Sales Engineering group, in a timely and professional manner. Monitors sales performance of all sales territories and targets individuals for training/re-training based on sales success vs potential and on the technical understanding of each sales engineer. Visits customers/potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, close sales opportunities and provide technical assistance. Builds relationships with key decision makers, to promote current and future business; including engineers, planners, schedulers, maintenance & production managers, technical & engineering directors as well as mill managers. Prioritizing support opportunities to accomplish meeting established sales budget goals. Provides pricing feedback to Triosim management to allow for competitive pricing that supports meeting profitability targets. Develop strategies to maximize short term and long-term performance for the division. Delivers sales presentations and closes sales in a professional manner. Diligently communicates both internally and externally to maximize effectiveness and involve all necessary stakeholders. Completes all safety training required by each mill in the region and promotes safety in all facets of the job both while on a customer site or traveling on the company’s behalf. Follows all requirements as outlined in the Triosim employee handbook. Helps to maintains sales opportunities and customer contact listings for customers within the assigned region using the Dynamics 365 CRM platform. Work closely with Triosim pump facilities to ensure customer feedback and communication is being delivered.
