*Overview*We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a medical office setting. This role requires a strong understanding of patient needs, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. The LPN will play a crucial role in supporting patients with various medical conditions and disabilities.*Duties* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist in the assessment and monitoring of patients’ health status. Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures to support patient care. Document patient information accurately in medical records, including ICD-9 coding when applicable. Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and home care needs. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities or requiring durable medical equipment (DME). Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. Support patients undergoing procedures such as cardiac catheterization or dermal filler treatments as needed.*Experience* Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with patient care practices, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions. Experience in critical care settings such as ICU is advantageous. Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and knowledge of DME usage is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
