You'll perform all responsibilities and job duties with a sense of ownership and team approach.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Stocking:Loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products to support in-stock conditionsStocks and rotates items and all merchandising areas as needed throughout the StoreBuilds, stocks, maintains, and takes down Store displays as directedChecks shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and qualityReports all out of date and damaged product received issues to the Inventory Flow ManagerReports missing signs and tags Sanitation:Organizes, cleans, and prepares prep areas, wareroom, and sales floor for incoming trucksEliminates cardboard and trash on shelves and merchandising fixturesCleans shelves and all merchandising fixtures; keeps sales floor area clean and safeAdheres to all SOPs for safety and sanitationMinimizes shrink through careful handling of productComplies with all federal, state and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation Customer Service:Provides a well-stocked and merchandised store, ready for customer shoppingProvides customer service by answering product-related questions and assisting Customers in a friendly mannerPerforms cross-functional duties in other areas (e.g., processing returns, performing Scanner duties) as neededThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
