Plant Manager

Plant ManagerWe are a staffing partner working with a client in DePere, WI to identify an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization seeking a hands-on leader to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the facility.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logisticsLead, develop, and support supervisors and department leadersDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimizationMonitor and improve key performance indicators (OEE, OTIF, scrap, labor efficiency, downtime)Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirementsManage production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery timelinesPartner cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and leadership teamsOversee plant budgeting including labor, materials, maintenance, and capital expendituresLead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational challengesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or equivalent experience710+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentProven experience managing plant operations (production, maintenance, quality)Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvementExperience working with KPIs and driving operational performanceStrong leadership, communication, and team development skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environmentWork Environment:Split between office and production floorExposure to typical manufacturing conditions (noise, equipment, etc.)Occasional travel between facilities may be requiredThis is an opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you can make a direct impact on plant performance, team development, and operational success.
