Master & Reference Data SpecialistRemobi | Remote, Europe | B2B/Freelance/Contract | 6 Months (high chance of extension) | ASAP StartWe are Remobi - we help businesses scale and innovate through high-performing, remote nearshore tech teams.Role DescriptionWe're hiring a Master & Reference Data Specialist to support a global energy technology group in strengthening how master and reference data is governed, catalogued and aligned across its enterprise.This role owns data documentation, lineage, lifecycle auditing and continuous improvement - turning fragmented master data practices into a consistent, well-governed foundation.What You'll DoDocument master & reference data in the Data Catalog, including metadata, definitions and relationshipsAlign M&R data across consuming systems, applying standards and conflict resolution rulesIdentify and document data lineage from creation to consumptionAudit master data objects and support lifecycle processes for insertion, update, deletion and retentionImprove policies, process and guidance for business and technology teamsContribute to automation of master and reference data managementSupport master and reference data design within a large-scale S/4HANA digital transformationWhat We're Looking ForExperience in Data Governance within a large, global organisation, preferably with SAP experienceExperience operationalising MDM solutions such as SAP MDG; Collibra Data Catalog experience preferredStrong understanding of Data Accountability, Data Quality, Metadata Management and Enterprise Data ArchitectureExcellent communicator with strong facilitation and change management skillsFluent in written and spoken EnglishWhy This RoleYou'll be a key voice in shaping how a global energy leader manages its master data, working alongside some of the most advanced data governance leaders in the industry on a foundation that directly supports global decarbonization efforts.
