What You’ll Do:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization’s end-user computing environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide exceptional support to our employees.
Design and Development: Direct development and implementation of technology solutions for employee computers, devices and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Design and configuration management of end user devices, including but not limited to: desktops, laptops, handhelds, registers, conference rooms hardware.
Hardware Maintenance: Manage desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as needed.
Software Deployment: Deploy and maintain software applications across the organization. Ensure timely updates, patches, and security enhancements.
Security Compliance: Work with Security team to implement and enforce security policies related to end-user devices. Work with security to deploy patches and any other security changes on end user devices
Remote Support: Provide remote assistance to off-site employees as a level 3 escalation. Troubleshoot issues via phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, software licenses, and user configurations. Create user guides and knowledge base articles for the help desk team to support devices deployed
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including cybersecurity specialists, network, systems, and development engineers.
User Experience Enhancement: Continuously seek ways to improve the end-user experience. Propose and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
What it Takes:
3-5+ years’ experience with end user compute or related field
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar preferred
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM and Intune.
Knowledge of hardware components, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
Experience in endpoint security and enterprise architecture
