Special Education Teacher
Job Description
ThinkGrove LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction, support, and guidance to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
What you will do:
Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, adjusting curriculum to suit individual learning styles.
Monitor student progress and modify teaching plans to meet evolving needs.
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of the entire classroom.
Cultivate inclusive classrooms by collaborating closely with general education teachers and support staff, promoting a holistic and supportive learning environment.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid teaching credential or eligibility for certification in Special Education.
Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Compassion, empathy, and dedication to meeting the unique needs of students with special needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
