Release Train EngineerLocation: Waltham, MA = Anywhere in the U.S. NG support remote near a NG location to go in for meetings once and awhileThe Release Train Engineer (RTE) works with Agile Delivery Lead/ Solution Train Engineer in helping optimize Lean Agile Practices for the Agile Teams and facilitating ART processes and value flow.The RTE acts as Servant Leader on the program and facilitate flow of value through the development value steam and help optimize Lean and Agile practices for the Scrum Teams. Facilitates ART execution, through processes, ceremonies, collaborations, and synchronization meetings. Work with Product Management roles in execution of deliverables, align strategy with execution and ensure ART commitments are met. Help manage Risks, Impediments, Decisions and Dependencies for Agile teams and help escalate as necessary. Servant Leader for Scrum Master community as the primary escalation contact and is ready to do whatever is necessary to keep the ART rolling. Help Improve the flow of value through value streams through practices associated with DevOps and Delivery Pipeline. Collaborate with the Program Management Office (APMO) on program execution and operational excellence. Help drive collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects, Engineering. Help in assess the agility level of Agile teams using metrics and improve them by helping drive relentless improvement. Help facilitates PI Planning event and PI Planning preparation with content and logistical readiness. Help Post PI Planning by ensuring contents of PI Plan are updated appropriately in JIRA. Work with Scrum Masters in helping them improve their scrum practices and ceremonies. Work with Product Owners in helping them improve their backlog creation, backlog structure and management. Help standardizing, documenting, and adopting Lean/Agile/SAFe processes. Help Product Management manage and operates within the ART budget.5+ years' experience as Agile program manager/Release Train Engineer using SAFe. Expert knowledge of JIRA and other Agile Lifecycle Management tools. Solid understanding of scaling Lean and Agile and understands the unique challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development program. Relevant undergraduate degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience; Advanced degree in IT or business preferred. Current SAFe RTE or SAFe SPC or equivalent certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong ability to Improvise and find solutions in the given context.
