Software Engineer — AI Infrastructure
Tech Stack: Python / Go / C· AI & ML systems · Data center networkingContract engagement with an AI startup · 6–12 months · Option to convert to full-timeWhat You'll DoBuild and ship production software in Python, Go, or C for AI infrastructure and platform services.Work alongside AI/ML engineers to take models and pipelines from prototype into reliable, deployable systems.Own CI/CD for your code — build, test, release automation, and the pipelines that keep it repeatable.Instrument and debug systems end to end, including performance behavior on GPU and data center networking infrastructure.Operate with startup ownership: small team, broad scope, direct accountability for what you deliver.Must-Have3–5 years of professional software development in Python, Go, or C (at least one at a strong, production level).Working knowledge of AI/ML development — how models are trained, served, and integrated into applications.Hands-on CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent), including automated testing and release pipelines.Comfortable in Linux environments, containers, and git-based workflows.Able to work independently in an early-stage environment with limited process and shifting priorities.PreferredData center networking domain experience — switching/routing, fabric design, RDMA/RoCE, InfiniBand, or high-performance interconnects.NVIDIA AI software stack: CUDA, NCCL, DOCA, cuDNN, Triton Inference Server, or NVIDIA networking libraries.MLOps experience — model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retraining workflows.Strong Match (Bonus)Open-source framework depth with PostgreSQL.Test framework design and automation at scale.Streaming telemetry — gNMI/gRPC, OpenConfig, Kafka, or similar high-volume metrics pipelines.
