The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various heavy machinery and equipment to perform mining, excavation, and land reclamation tasks. Daily responsibilities include equipment operation for material movement, performing necessary maintenance and inspections, ensuring workplace safety, and efficiently contributing to project timelines. Work will take place in active mine and reclamation sites under safety and environmental compliance standards.QualificationsProficiency in Heavy Equipment Operation, including safely operating excavators and other machineryExperience in Equipment Maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machineryWorking knowledge and hands-on experience in Excavation techniquesFamiliarity with handling and operating Used Equipment appropriatelyUnderstanding of safety standards and protocols specific to mining and reclamation operationsStrong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team membersPrevious experience in mining, construction, or similar industries is preferredMust be able to pass a drug test and background checkClean driving record is a mustPer Diem is offered for out of town travelWorking in remote areas for a long period of time
