You will be responsible for managing complex tax compliance, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. We interact with our clients on a frequent basis and your professionalism and helpful attitude will make a wonderful addition to our team!Responsabilities:Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065).Accounting for RSUs, ESPP, or equity compensation on individual tax returnsAbility to handle forms 2555, 1116, 3520, 114, 8938, 8949Experience with cryptocurrency reporting & RecognitionAssist with tax planning and compliance for clients across various industries.Research tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for clients.Support senior tax professionals in handling IRS and state tax notices.Maintain accurate client records and documentation.Skills:Extensive experience in tax accounting, including tax experience with corporate entities and non-profit organizationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial statement preparationProficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent tools for bookkeeping and financial analysisFamiliarity with estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law to support comprehensive client or organizational needsUnderstanding of securities law, private equity, asset management, and regulatory reporting requirementsExcellent analysis skills for account reconciliation, financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and financial analysisAbility to perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation efficientlyKnowledge of payroll processing, budgeting techniques, and non-profit accounting practices is a plusStrong technical accounting skills including asset management and financial planning expertiseEffective communication skills for detailed report writing and analysis presentationCommunicate with clients to gather necessary tax-related information.Experience:Tax accounting: 3 + yearsLicense/Certification:CPA (Required) orEnrolled Agent (Required)
