Want real sales experience at a startup that's actually growing? College Cubbies is a student-founded summer storage company backed by ZIP Launchpad, SDSU's startup incubator — and we're looking for an SDR to help us convert interested students and parents into customers.What you'll do:You'll be working warm leads — students and parents who've already shown interest in our service. Your job is to reach out, walk them through how College Cubbies works, handle questions, and get sign-ups.Day to day that looks like:Making outbound calls to students and parents from our CRMFollowing up via text and email to nurture leadsWalking prospects through our service, pricing, and how it all worksTracking your outreach and results so we can optimize togetherYou'll have guidance, CRM access, and full training — but we want someone who can think on their feet and bring energy to every conversation.Role details:$17.75/hr + performance bonuses tied to sign-ups and conversionsFlexible hours scheduled around your classesRemote-friendly — work from wherever, though being in San Diego is a plusReal startup sales experience working directly with the foundersApproximately 5–10 weeks (April 5 – May/June)What we're looking for:Currently enrolled at SDSU, USD, or UCSDConfident communicator — comfortable on the phone and in writingSelf-motivated and goal-orientedNo prior sales experience required — experience in sales, marketing, or any customer-facing role is a plusIf you want to build a skill set that actually transfers to your career and not just clock hours at a campus job, this is it.
