Material Handler I

**Stand-up Electric Forklift experience required**The purpose of the Material Handler I position is to move goods from point to point within the warehouse or distribution center to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods from work areas to maintain continual operation and productivity standards for the facility.ResponsibilitiesPerforms tasks associated with moving goods from point to pointSupply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage areaMonitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate issues.Sort and process materials as designatedPack and fill boxes or pallets in an organized manner according to weight restrictionsRecord, document, and file materials as directed to maintain organization and inventory accuracyAssemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping departmentMaintain baseline productivity goals dailyProvide timely feedback to management on fulfillment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues.Operating an RF deviceOn time Shipping and ReceivingAssist with Inventory Control team as neededQuality Compliance5S – Standards and HousekeepingCross-training on other warehouse job functions as neededQualificiationsAbility to perform work in a highly organized and color-coded environmentAbility to communicate effectively with associates at all levels of the organizationAbility to work without supervision.Excellent teamwork skillsAbility to read labels and numbersAbility to operate in high speed and fast-paced environmentAbility to follow instructions as directed by the supervisorHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior warehouse experience, preferredLeadership experience, a plusWMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or RF Unit system experience, a plusCompetitive CompensationWe believe in rewarding excellence.
