YesOnsiteOverview:Our client, a leader in the Frozen Foods industry, is seeking an innovative and driven Food Product Development Specialist to join their team. This key role focuses on managing the entire product development cycle, with a special emphasis on Asian food categories, supporting the company's commitment to quality and culinary innovation. Perfect for entry-level candidates with a food science or culinary background eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.Compensation & Benefits:$50,000.00 - $60,000.00Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 401KRelocation AssistanceKey Responsibilities and Goals:Lead the full product development cycle from initial concept to successful market launch.Develop and refine product prototypes across multiple projects.Design, coordinate, and execute pilot and plant trials, including scale-up and performance testing.Maintain detailed product lifecycle documentation such as formulations and specifications.Ensure all products meet cost, quality, and regulatory standards.Conduct shelf-life, sensory, and microbiological testing to ensure product quality and compliance.Source and research new ingredients and suppliers for innovation.Support product and process improvements, including formula optimization for quality and cost efficiency.Competencies Needed For Success:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related field.Experience or familiarity with food chemistry, microbiology, and lab testing procedures.Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations.Preferably experience in Asian food product development; other food backgrounds acceptable if complemented by relevant interest.Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently.Referrals are our best source for the top talent our clients need so if you know of anyone with these skills in the food and beverage industry, please pass me their name and email/phone number, or share this job posting with them.
