With decades of experience in global logistics, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships, and creating a supportive team environment where employees are valued and rewarded.We are currently seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to join our growing operations team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit U.S. Customs entries accurately and in a timely manner using ABI systemsReview commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other import documentationEnsure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and PGA requirementsClassify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)Communicate with importers, carriers, government agencies, and internal departments regarding shipment status and clearance issuesMonitor shipments through the customs clearance process and resolve any delays or discrepanciesMaintain accurate shipment and compliance recordsSupport customers with customs-related inquiries and provide excellent serviceRequirementsPrevious experience as a Customs Entry Writer, Customs Broker Assistant, or similar import operations roleStrong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import documentationExperience using customs brokerage software and ABI entry systemsUnderstanding of HTS classification and PGA requirements preferredExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentLicensed Customs Broker qualification is a plus, but not requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience401(k) retirement plan with company contributionMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysSupportive family-oriented work cultureCareer development and long-term growth opportunitiesStable and reputable company with strong customer relationshipsScheduleFull-timeMonday to FridayOffice-based in New York, NYIf you are looking to join a respected family-owned logistics company where your experience and contribution are genuinely appreciated, we would love to hear from you.
