Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer (Onsite)Location: West Hollywood, CA (Onsite)Compensation: Up to $300,000 total compensationAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to build and deliver scalable, production-grade software across a modern tech stack. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys owning features end-to-end, and values clean architecture and high-quality code.You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship full-stack applications that directly impact business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deliver full-stack software features end-to-endDevelop and maintain Java / Spring Boot backend services supporting critical production systemsBuild modern, responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScriptDesign and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external servicesOwn database design, including schema development, migrations, and performance optimizationCollaborate with senior engineers on architecture, system design, and technical strategyParticipate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering standardsContribute to deployment, monitoring, and production supportRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong backend development experience with Java and Spring BootSolid frontend experience with React and TypeScriptExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIsStrong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)Experience with system design, scalability, and performance optimizationProven ability to own features end-to-end from concept through productionPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practicesExposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Background in high-growth or fast-paced engineering environmeRobert Half will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
