Marketing Manager- The WatermarkTysons, VirginiaThe Watermark Hotel is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager to facilitate all digital marketing efforts for our premier hospitality destination and its distinctive outlets. This role will manage social media presence across multiple unique venues including The Watermark Hotel, Perch Putt (our 18-hole putt putt golf course), our award-winning restaurant Wren, and our newly opened Tokyo-inspired cocktail lounge.We're looking for a creative storyteller who can capture the essence of each of our distinct venues while maintaining cohesive brand messaging. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable behind a camera capturing the perfect food shot as they are analyzing engagement metrics and developing strategic campaigns. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.B. F. Joining our team says you are committed to guest satisfaction and promise to uphold the highest level of integrity.Key Responsibilities:Social Media ManagementDevelop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for hotel and all outlets across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedInCreate engaging content campaigns that align with each venue's unique brand identity and target audienceManage daily social media operations including posting, engagement, and community managementMonitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms in a timely and professional mannerAnalyze and report social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reachContent Creation & PhotographyConceptualize and produce high-quality visual and written content to increase engagement and drive inquiriesConduct basic photography sessions focusing on food and beverage items, function room setups, special events, and property featuresUtilize design platforms (particularly Canva) to create visually appealing graphics, promotional materials, and social media assetsMaintain a consistent visual brand aesthetic across all digital touchpointsWebsite & Digital Asset ManagementPerform minor website updates including packages, menus, photos, and promotional contentEnsure all digital assets are current, accurate, and optimized for user experienceCoordinate with web development team for larger technical updates as neededReputation ManagementMonitor and manage online reviews across Google, TripAdvisor, and Medallia platformsRespond professionally to guest feedback and work with operations teams to address concernsDevelop strategies to encourage positive reviews and improve overall online reputationOn-Site Marketing InitiativesDesign and implement on-property marketing materials including signage and promotional displaysCreate and execute email marketing campaigns to support venue promotions and eventsCollaborate with operations teams to support special events and seasonal campaignsRequired Qualifications:2-3 years of social media marketing experiencePrevious experience in the hospitality industry preferred (hotel, restaurant, resort, or similar)Proven track record managing business social media accounts with measurable resultsProficiency with design, content management and email marketing platformsBasic photography skills with ability to conduct food, beverage, and event photographyStrong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn business platformsExceptional organizational and project management abilitiesSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and meet deadlinesCreative problem-solver with "outside the box" thinking approachStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to understand and translate unique brand positioning for different target audiencesBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental & Vision InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityVacation401(k) Retirement ProgramPaid Life InsuranceTuition ReimbursementOur Big 3 Mission Statement Leaders of the Month/YearAnnual Performance Appraisals and Wage Increase OpportunitiesAnnual Team Member BanquetsAnnual Team Member Engagement SurveyDiscounted Room Rates for Team Members, Family and FriendsComplimentary Room StaysWeekly PayrollB.
