Senior Python DeveloperOur client is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines that move and transform data across enterprise systems. You will work with modern data platforms, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and champion best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.Responsibilities & QualificationsDesign and develop robust ETL pipelines in Python to extract, transform, and load data across source and target systemsOptimize and maintain existing Extract-Transform-Load pipelines, ensuring performance and reliability at scaleDevelop, tune, and optimize data models, queries, and stored procedures across relational databases (DB2, PostgreSQL)Implement comprehensive data validation, cleansing, error handling, rollback mechanisms, and audit-loggingPartner directly with business users and data analysts to gather requirements, clarify data mappings, and ensure alignmentMonitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements to operational stability and observabilityContribute to instrumentation, logging, and monitoring enhancements to support production reliabilityFollow modern DevOps practices, write unit tests, enforce code-quality gates, and maintain clear technical documentationRequirements6–9 years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in PythonDemonstrated experience designing and developing ETL pipelines and data integration solutionsProficiency in SQL optimization, data modeling, and working with relational databases (DB2, PostgreSQL)Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principlesStrong data validation, error handling, and data cleansing practices in production environmentsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teamsCommitment to code quality, testing standards, and maintaining clear documentation
