The Manager will join the Data Strategy team within ONE. This team's primary responsibilities include:Identify and cataloging quality data sourcesAdhering to Mastercard's Enterprise Data StrategyWorking with engineering and platforms teams to obtain and deliver dataOverseeing Data and "AI" projectsThe ideal candidate is passionate about continuous improvement, highly motivated, analytical and possesses advanced communication skills. RoleThis role provides an opportunity to plan, execute, and lead various Operational job families, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Project Managers. Utilize knowledge of Agile and Project/Program management to develop the team.Assist and work with multiple teams from various job families to identify dependencies and develop simpler workflow pathways to alleviate impacts on speed and quality of delivery.Develop and oversee Data Strategy policies and guidelinesBuild relationships with Data teams across the enterpriseWriting documentation and policies to align to Enterprise strategyCommunicating Enterprise data strategy and data management to Team ONE StakeholdersEnsuring compliance against the enterprise and Team ONE strategyAssessment of Data and AI Use cases for business viability and return on investmentAll About YouA strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your position effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders. Proven experience effectively analyzing data and applying solutions. Experience leading cross functional projects / programs. Experience defining and overseeing data strategies, on prem or in the cloud. Experience with "big data". Experience with ensuring adherence to corporate policies and guidelines. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
