Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift

*Position Overview * Quality Control Inspector 1 shift to join our woodworking production team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting wood panels before shipment to ensure they meet company quality and accuracy standards. *Key Responsibilities * * Inspect wood panels for defects, accuracy, and overall quality before shipment * Scan, document, and separate products that do not meet standards * Communicate quality issues to production leads and assisting in corrective actions * Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation * Ensure all finished products are prepared and approved for shipment * Follow all company safety policies and quality control procedures * Keep work area clean, organized, and safe *Qualifications * * Quality control or inspection experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates * Read- instructions * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections * Good communication skills and teamwork mindset * Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift * Reliable attendance and positive work ethic *Schedule & Compensation* * Hours: 5:45 AM–2:15 PM, Monday–Friday Current OT with 9 hours shifts during busier season * Optional volunteer Saturdays with 4–8 hours of overtime and bonus pay * Competitive hourly wage of $19–$20, based on experience * Opportunity for long-term growth within the company Pay: From $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
