Warehouse Inventory Specialist Location: Houma / Gray Louisiana area Compensation: Approximately $50,000 - $60,000 annually Schedule: Full-time | Onsite About the Opportunity A growing industrial equipment and services company in Gray, Louisiana is looking for a dependable, systems-minded Warehouse Inventory Specialist to take ownership of day-to-day inventory control. This is more than a traditional warehouse position. The company needs someone who can physically support warehouse operations while also keeping the inventory system accurate, tracking material movement, and making sure the team knows what is available, what has been issued, and what needs to be reordered. What You’ll Do Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming parts, materials, tools, and equipment. Record inventory receipts, transfers, usage, and adjustments within the company’s inventory system. Maintain accurate on-hand quantities and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. Perform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts. Pull and stage materials for projects, field teams, and internal departments. Track issued and returned tools, parts, and equipment. Identify low-stock items and communicate purchasing or replenishment needs. Keep the warehouse organized, clean, safe, and easy to navigate. Work closely with operations, purchasing, accounting, and project teams to resolve inventory questions. Help improve warehouse procedures and inventory controls as the company continues to grow. What We’re Looking For Previous warehouse, inventory control, parts, or materials-management experience. Comfortable working in an ERP, warehouse management, or computerized inventory system. Strong attention to detail and confidence investigating inventory discrepancies. Able to balance hands-on warehouse responsibilities with accurate computer and administrative work.
