Role DescriptionFlorida State University is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract, hybrid role based in Tallahassee, FL. The Software Engineer will engage in developing, testing, and maintaining back-end systems and applications. Responsibilities include creating scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient code, troubleshooting, and refining system performance. Regular in-office collaboration and some remote work are integral to this position.QualificationsProficiency in Software Development, Programming, and Back-End Web DevelopmentStrong foundation in Computer Science principlesExperience or knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with diverse teamsFamiliarity with state-of-the-art development tools and technologies is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
