This role focuses on improving patient mobility, independence, and functional outcomes through guided treatment plans and patient-centered care.As part of Providence Health & Services, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment committed to whole-person care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plansProvide hands-on therapy to improve patient mobility and functionMonitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapistEducate patients and families on exercises and rehabilitation techniquesMaintain accurate documentation of treatments and progressEnsure patient safety and adherence to therapy protocolsCollaborate with healthcare teams to support patient recoveryRequired QualificationsDegree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant ProgramOregon Physical Therapy Assistant License - Required upon hireBLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required upon hireAbility to work under supervision of a licensed Physical TherapistClient background check required upon hirePreferred QualificationsExperience in outpatient or rehabilitation settingsStrong patient care and communication skillsKnowledge of therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocolsAbility to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
