We strive to integrate a building’s structure with the overall architectural intent and constantly look for opportunities to challenge conventional thinking and traditional ways of engineering in search of more inspired design solutions. We are actively looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. Primary FocusDeliver cutting edge innovation and strive for flawless execution of all Daedalus Projects"Innovate, Collaborate, Execute: Excellence in Every Daedalus Project"ResponsibilitiesProject managementGuide team members in project discussions, analysis, problem-solving Lead teams to achieve successful project deliveryCommunicate consistently with PIC and larger design team for coordination, client communications, resource allocationsWork with team to ensure proper staffing to meet utilization goalsMaintain project documentation and communication organizationSchedule and lead quality control discussions Coordinate standards development with PIC Business DevelopmentPrepare Client ProposalsContribute to efforts in client developmentDevelop and join client presentationsNetwork and participate in industry and/or client-driven eventsClient management; maintain/develop relationshipsTraining and People DevelopmentCoach teams and guide them through problem-solving and analysis techniques as well as development of project deliverables Oversee/guide the progress of learning modules Finance Establish and monitor project budgets with PICMonthly invoicing Requirements7+ years relevant experienceTechnical and detailing knowledge in all building materials, including mass timberStrong organizational, written and verbal communication skillsLeadership/business development experience with personal and professional growth mindset California P.E. licence requiredAutoCAD and/or Revit experience strongly recommended Benefits Daedalus is an equal opportunity employer.
