Service Writer II | 3rd Shift

Primary Job Duties:Daily service writer tasks such as handling breakdowns, assigning work to mechanics as well as weekend coverage as neededManaging inoperative equipment at the G&D facilitiesWorking with operations to get needed equipment in for services/repairsAssist in training new mechanics and verifying workHelps technicians with diagnostics and repair issuesMonitoring and improving efficiencies/workflows in the shopAssist shop manager with employee issuesOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma and a minimum 1-3 years of experience in a commercial maintenance shop is required which includes hands on mechanical experience.Experience using standard office equipment; Maintenance software, Email and Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point.Basic knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and data presentation would be useful.Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and customer service skills are a must.Job Details:Location: 50 Commerce Drive Morton, IL 61550Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday-Thursday | 10:00 PM - 6:30 AMPay Range: $18 /HRJob Type: Full Time with BenefitsCompany Information:G&D Integrated has a rich history that dates back to the early 1880s, when freight was delivered with horse-drawn wagons.
